Mando Corp., the nation's leading auto parts maker, has won a 210 billion won ($178 million) order to supply auto parts to BMW of Germany, the company said Sunday.
Under the deal, Mando will provide BMW a brake system from 2013, it said.
The company said it plans to seek more orders from other European carmakers.
Last year, Mando, which supplies auto parts to the U.S. automakers Ford Motor Co. and General Motors Co., won a deal from French automaker Renault SA to provide suspension systems.
Mando is also the biggest parts supplier to fast growing local vehicle makers Hyundai Motor Co. and Kia Motors Corp.
