SHINee to release fourth album ‘Odd'

SHINee will release its fourth album "Odd" on May 18, SM Entertainment said Monday.

All tracks included in "Odd" will be unveiled online, including the track "View." The group's last album "Everybody" was released in October.

The group will hold a series of concerts at the Gymnastics Stadium in Olympic Park May 15-17, which will also serve as a showcase for its upcoming album. Here, they will unveil "View" for the first time. SHINee's third Japanese album "I'm Your Boy," which was released in September, topped the Oricon weekly album chart and their Japan tour "SHINee WORLD 2014" attracted more than 300,000 fans.

No Min-woo files damage suit against SM

Actor-singer No Min-woo has filed a suit for damages against his former agency SM Entertainment.

No's attorney issued a press release Monday saying that the former TRAX member has filed a damages suit with the Seoul Central District Court, and has reported SM's alleged unfair corporate practices to the Fair Trade Commission (FTC). No claims SM unilaterally tied him to a 17-year "slave" contract.

No's attorney stressed that the contract violates the norms of a standard seven-year contract in the entertainment industry and SM is interfering with No's business activities as an independent entertainer by blocking his appearances on major broadcast outlets.

SM said Tuesday that the allegations are groundless, and that it is looking into countering with legal action against No.

In 2009, JYJ members left their then-agency SM claiming unjust contract provisions. Since then, JYJ has been unable to secure televised music gigs, which the group claims was because SM sent letters to 26 television stations in 2010 asking them not to put JYJ on their shows.
