Stay cool, stay fun with summer packages

The summer season has already begun and people are busy drawing up their vacation plans.
But some may find it troublesome to visit crowded beaches or mountain valleys, and some others may not have enough time to have a long vacation in provinces or overseas.
Then why not just stay in the city? There are so many ways to stay cool and have fun as hotels present various summer packages.
Mayfield Hotel & Resort
The Mayfield Hotel & Resort offers three Summer 4 Ever Packages for July and August, along with optional programs designed for all family members.
The Summer 4 Ever 1 Package offers a one-night stay in a superior room for 165,000 won, while the Summer 4 Ever 2 Package adds a breakfast buffet for two at Michelin and a beach bag at 195,000 won. The Summer 4 Ever 3 Package features all the benefits above plus a special menu for two at the Italian restaurant La Festa or the Chinese restaurant Yi Yuan at 265,000 won.
Guests having any of the three packages can enjoy free access to the swimming pool and fitness club, where children’s sections will be open in July with slides and toys. They can also have a 50-percent discount for the sauna and a 10-percent discount for restaurants and the golf practice range Par3.
The hotel offers four optional programs with additional fees.
The Ever-Green program offers a chance to learn about trees and insects in the hotel’s 6,600-square-meter-wide wooded area. An expert will guide the participants. The program is available between July 26 and Aug. 15 and requires at least five participants. The price is 15,000 won per person.
In the Ever-Sweet program, children can learn about cake decoration, making their own cake. The participants will get a “Mayfield one-day patissier” certificate. The program is available between July 26 and Aug. 15 at 20,000 won and requires at least five participants.
The Ever-Cool program is a spa treatment for relaxation of the back and legs and cooling of sunburned faces. It is available in July and August and costs 80,000 won.
The last is the BBQ Ever-Garden program which will be held one time on July 28. Between 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., a barbeque party will be offered with a bubble and balloon show. It is priced at 70,000 won for adults and 35,000 won for children.

InterContinental Seoul COEX
Summer breezes and fun are not things only obtained at resort destinations but are available in the center of city with sparkling wine and discounts at the Sky Lounge through InterContinental Seoul COEX’s Summer Sparkling Package.
The package includes a one-night stay and a complimentary bottle of Wolf Blass Eaglehawk Sparkling Brut. A 10-percent discount on meals will be offered to guests ordering champagne or sparkling wine at the hotel’s 30th-floor Sky Lounge, which was recently featured in the hit soap opera “A Gentleman’s Dignity.”
Package guests can extend their checkout to 2 p.m. as well as access other services without charge including the sauna, golf center, fitness center and guestroom Internet.

Renaissance Seoul Hotel
The Renaissance Seoul Hotel’s summer packages are specially designed targeting couples and families.
Available from July 1 to Sept. 2, three different relaxing packages are on offer to suit different guests’ needs. All of them feature complimentary use of the indoor swimming pool and recreation center as well as a 50-percent discount at the sauna.
The Summer Saving Package is a cost-saving choice that includes a one-night stay in a deluxe room along with the general benefits above, with the price starting from 179,000 won.
The Summer Refresh Package offers a one-night stay, breakfast for two at the Cafe Elysee, two summer cocktails, two tickets to the Megabox movie theater, free in-room Internet, and an Aveda travel kit as a gift. The price starts from 239,000 won.
The Summer Family Package features a one-night stay, breakfast for two at the Cafe Elysee with two children under 12 able to eat free, one pizza and two soft drinks as room service, free in-room Internet, one free in-room movie with a bowl of popcorn, as well as an Aveda travel kit and a board game as gifts.

Sheraton Incheon Hotel
Sheraton Incheon Hotel offers an opportunity to enjoy a summer getaway without getting far away from the city, with various package programs available from July 1 to Sept. 8.
The Summer Story Package includes a one-night stay in a deluxe room, breakfast buffet for two, and premium ice cream for two at the lobby bar ConneXions. The price starts from 175,000 won.
The Hot Summer Package, available from 215,000 won, features a one-night stay in a deluxe room, breakfast buffet for two and free flow of draft beer and a snack platter at the lobby bar Bb.
The Summer on the Club Package includes a one-night stay in a club room, breakfast and evening cocktail for two at the club lounge and a gift of Crabtree & Evelyn hand lotion set.
During the weekdays and Sunday, the One Summer Night Package will be offered with the condition of checking in after 7 p.m. It includes a one-night stay in a deluxe room and dinner buffet for two at Feast starting from 200,000 won.

Imperial Palace Seoul
Three types of Summer Holiday Package are offered by the Imperial Palace Seoul where guests can enjoy outdoor swimming.
The Deluxe Room Package offers a one-night stay in a deluxe room, breakfast buffet for two at the Cafe Amiga and two drinks at the lobby lounge Del Mar or a T-shirt produced by the hotel.
The Club Deluxe Package includes a one-night stay in a club deluxe room, benefits of the club lounge such as breakfast for two there, and a T-shirt. The Suite Package features a one-night stay at a duplex or corner suite, benefits of the club lounge, wine and salad room service and a T-shirt.
All guests taking any of the packages will be given a cleansing form and moisturizing cream from Dr. Jart. They can also have a 50-percent discount for the outdoor swimming pool and free access to the indoor swimming pool and fitness club.

W Seoul-Walkerhill’s Summer in the City Package suggests fun and cool ways to spend the hot summer.
While all the three programs of the package offer a one-night stay in a “Wonderful Room” and breakfast buffet for two, the Chill Out program features one WooBingsu (ice flakes) at the WooBar. It is available through Aug. 26 and the price starts from 275,000 won.
The Stay Cool program, available between July 9 and Sept. 9, includes Summer Cool Cocktails for two at WooBar, access to the indoor pool WET and sauna WATER Zone, and manicure and pedicure services at Style Lab. The price starts from 328,000 won.
The Escape program offers a chance to enjoy an outdoor experience with access to the outdoor pool River Park and poolside buffet for two. It is available from July 9 to Sept. 9 and the cost starts from 384,000 won.
All guests staying from July 9 will also have a 15-percent discount at restaurants and AWAY Spa as well as a W Tote bag as a special gift.
