Millennium Hilton

Come feast on an array of local delights at Orangerie, the Millennium Seoul Hilton’s buffet restaurant during the month of April.

The Korean cuisine promotion will feature specialties from eight provinces across the Korean Peninsula, including wrapped kimchi from Gyeonggi Province; acorn jelly and potato pancake from Gangwon; Melanian snail soup from Chungcheong; spicy beef soup from Gyeongsang and lastly seaweed soup from Jeolla.

The entire peninsula will be represented as dishes from provinces in North Korea are also on offer such as beef and shrimp pancakes from Hwanghae; cold noodles from Pyeongan; and fermented flat fish from Hamgyeong.

Lotte

The Lotte Hotel Seoul’s open-kitchen buffet restaurant, La Seine, is holding a “Ladies’ Day” promotion through April 25 to celebrate reopening following a facelift. Female customers can enjoy the Monday lunch buffet for just 33,000 won, a 50 percent discount.

The restaurant’s Asian food corner serves healthy low-calorie dishes, which have received positive feedback, especially from weight-conscious female customers. Fifteen dishes from eight Asian countries are presented.

W Seoul-Walkerhill is promoting the “W Hot Spring Package,” which includes free use of the hotel’s hot spring sauna Water Zone.

The water at the spa and for each room comes from the hot spring under the building. Water Zone has outdoor treatment facilities overlooking the Han River and seven thematic bathtubs including two hinoki tubs.

The package also includes a one-night stay, complimentary breakfast buffet for two, free use of the indoor swimming pool and fitness center, and a 10 percent discount for the Away Spa.

Imperial

The Imperial Palace Hotel’s deli, Amador, is introducing brunch sets and afternoon tea sets starting on April 1.

Four brunch sets, featuring sandwiches, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, are available at 17,000 won between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on weekends.

Afternoon tea sets will be served from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays at 16,500 won. Between April 1 and 15 the tea sets are priced specially at 12,000 won. For more information call 02-3440-8133.

JW

The JW Marriott Seoul’s Grill presents American steaks, with cuts including T-bone, prime rib eye, porterhouse, and tomahawk bone-in prime rib, in collaboration with the U.S. Meat Export Federation between April 4 and May 31.

To add some fun to the meat extravaganza, 100 diners will have a chance to savor a tomahawk steak for free if they eat a 1.2 kilogram steak, baked potato, grilled tomato, roasted corn and Yorkshire pudding in 20 minutes. Those finishing the dish within the time will eat for free, and the person with the fastest time will receive a coupon for a one-night stay at the hotel.
