KOCIS operates Korea blog in English

The Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS) has transformed its Korean-style food blog which was started on a trial run in December 2009 into the nation’s representative English blog (The Korea Blog, http://blog.korea.net).

It includes information on Korea, such as hidden tourist spots, fashion, “hallyu” (Korean wave), culture, art, lifestyle, travel and technology.

Also, foreign bloggers popular within the expat community will be part of the operation. In addition, the government will select 50 Koreans living abroad and foreigners residing here as “global reporters” to participate in the blog.
