Actor Yoo Ji-tae hosts classical concerts

Actor Yoo Ji-tae is hosting talk show-style classical concerts at Gyeonggi Arts Center, Gyeonggi Province, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The movie star is best known for roles in films such as Park Chan-wook’s “Old Boy” and most recently the thriller “Midnight FM.”
Known as an avid fan of classical music, Yoo will speak about classical numbers that appeared in his movies, such as Kachaturian’s “Saber Dance” from “Old Boy,” as well as the art of filmmaking. Film critic Oh Dong-jin will also join him on stage to discuss Yoo’s movies.

The concert features chamber music performances by top notch artists including pianist Park Jong-hoon. Highlights from Yoo’s movies will also be screened between his narrations.
