One of Korea’s top record labels, YG Entertainment, has told news sites that its new girl group has agreed to never undergo plastic surgery in a contract. This is part of the agency’s focus on talent rather than looks, sources close to YG said.

The music label has commented that it doesn’t view plastic surgery in a negative light, but that it wants to emphasize natural charm and beauty. All those who belong to the agency, have agreed to follow the rule.

YG has confirmed that the new group will consist of five to seven members aged between 15 and 19. Super Star K2’s Kim Eun-bi is one of the first members of this group, which will be unveiled next year.

This is the first time YG Entertainment has included such a condition into a contract.
