Girls’ Generation Dominates MBC

Girls' Generation

Girls' Generation is dominating MBC, one of South Korea's three nationwide broadcasters.

Viewers can see the nine-member group throughout the week as the members appear in a variety of radio and TV programs.

Leading member Taeyeon will be with listeners for two hours every day as a DJ on MBC Radio's music show, though she appears to feel more burdened after Kang-in of Super Junior stepped down as co-host.

Over the weekend, the group's activities will become more brisk. Tiffany and Yuri are emceeing ``Show! Music Center,'' a program broadcast Saturday afternoon. Sooyoung will also serve as a co-presenter of a popular show Sunday morning.

On Sunday evening, the entire group will appear in MBC-TV's flagship entertainment program, ``Sunday Sunday Night.''

Yoona stars in ``Cinderella Man,'' a miniseries broadcast Wednesday and Thursday every week on MBC-TV.

Girls' Generation is a South Korean girl group formed by SM Entertainment in 2007. Its members include Yoona, Tiffany, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Seohyun, Taeyeon (the leader), Jessica, and Sunny.
