New applications from Lufthansa for mobile devices like the iPhone are providing customers with more on-the-move options to access services and communicate with other Miles & More members.
An optimized iPhone application called Lufthansa Launcher, which began operating on February 24, provides Lufthansa customers with practical information about services. Users can view the Lufthansa timetable and get updates on flight arrival and departure times. Its "webview" function allows users to access mobile.lufthansa.com to book flights, check in online, retrieve booking information and check their Miles & More account.
With the MemberScout application, Miles & More members are able to communicate with each other on the move to exchange travel experiences and ask for tips. Miles & More members can discuss where to go, sights to see and restaurants to visit.
Finally, the Lufthansa Navigator makes getting around Frankfurt Airport easy as child's play. It is designed to guide users reliably from their current position to their desired destination at the airport. For example, travelers can choose whether they want to go to check-in, a lounge or directly to their gate.
The iPhone app (version OS 3.0 or higher) also enables customers to check scheduled and expected departure times and also book flights or check in from their mobile phones.
The airline is presenting an all inclusive online offer on March 11th and 12th. With the promotion available at mobile.lufthansa.com and lufthansa.com, passengers can enjoy incredible return fares to destinations in Europe starting from KRW 888,000. Travelers can choose to fly either from Seoul or Busan
All of Lufthansa's applications are available both in English and German, and can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store. Further applications for Blackberrys, Android OS devices and many other smartphones will be made available at the end of March.
More information is available at lufthansa.com and mobile.lufthansa.com
