As one of the biggest female singers in the world, Beyonce Knowles is a seasoned pro at performing in heels.
But it appeared even Beyonce can have an off day after she lost her balance on stage last week.
Performing in Florianopolis, Brazil last Thursday, the singer slipped on stage, but managed to stop herself sliding straight into the crowd, the Daily Mail reported.
Beyonce was walking to the side of the circular stage when her right foot slipped forward.
But the quick-thinking singer managed to put her left hand out to support her as she crashed to the floor so it looked like she was crouching down.
After singing as few lines on the floor and trying to catch her breath, Beyonce stood up again and carried on performing.
After performing five gigs in Brazil, Beyonce will move on to Argentina, Chile and Peru. The former Destiny's Child singer started her exhausting 105-day tour in Canada last March.
In between gigs, she managed to find time to attend the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles a week ago ― where she won six accolades ― and promote her new Heat fragrance in New York last Tuesday.
비욘세 브라질 공연중 `꽈당'
팝의 여왕 비욘세가 브라질 공연 중 무대에서 미끄러져 눈길을 끌었다.
데일리 메일은 지난 4일 브라질 남부 플로리아노폴리스에서 공연 중 비욘세가 균형을 잃어 관객들 앞에서 넘어졌다고 전했다.
원형 무대 위에서 하이힐을 신고 춤을 추다가 균형을 잃은 것.
바닥에 주저앉은 비욘세는 잠시 손으로 바닥을 잡고 균형을 잡은 뒤, 마치 안무 중 한 부분이었던 것처럼 춤과 연결시키며 곧 다시 일어나 공연을 계속했다.
남미지역 투어 공연에 나선 비욘세는 브라질에서 5회 공연 후, 아르헨티나와 칠레, 페루 등에서 공연을 할 계획이다.
비욘세는 지난주 미국에서 열린 그래미 시상식에서 6개 부문의 상을 휩쓸어 자타가 공인하는 팝의 여왕 자리를 굳혔다. |
