MBC TV's ``Queen Seondeok'' has become the year's most viewed drama, according to TNS Media Korea, an audience rating agency.
``Queen Seonkeok,'' which began to air in May, topped the list of this year's TV dramas with an average audience rating of 35.3 percent.
SBS TV's ``Wife's Temptation,'' which had been under fire for being lousy, came in second with 34.6 percent, followed by SBS TV's ``Brilliant Legacy'' with 31.9 percent and KBS TV's ``Iris'' with 30 percent, which is now being broadcast amid high popularity.
Despite the bright performance of ``Queen Seondeok,'' MBC TV managed to rank only two dramas in the top 10.
올 최고시청률 드라마 `선덕여왕'
올해 최고 시청률을 올린 드라마는 MBC TV `선덕여왕'으로 조사됐다고 시청률 조사회사 TNS미디어코리아가 밝혔다.
지난 5월 첫 방송을 시작한 '선덕여왕'은 전국 평균 시청률 35.3%로 2009년 최고 흥행 드라마가 됐다.
SBS TV '아내의 유혹'은 '막장 드라마'라는 거센 비판 속에서도 34.6%의 시청률로 2위를 차지했고, '찬란한 유산'이 31.9%로 3위, 그리고 그 뒤를 현재 인기리에 방영 중인 KBS '아이리스'가 30.0%로 이었다.
MBC는 '선덕여왕'이 시청률 정상에 올랐지만 10위권 내 겨우 2편만 이름을 올리는 부진을 드러냈다. |
