Top baseball player Kim Tae-kyun is dating actress Wang Ji-hye, Starpark Entertainment, Wang's agency, admitted Wednesday.
Starpark said, ``It's true the two are intimate. They are meeting cautiously. But it's still burdensome to call them `lovers.'''
``The two met first in the summer through the introduction of their acquaintances. They have had frequent meetings by having meals together.''
Kim, 27, South Korea's cleanup player in the World Baseball Classic (WBC) in March, signed a 550-million-yen (7 billion won), three-year contract with Japan's Chiba Lotte Marines last week. He is also reported to receive bonuses according to his performance.
Wang, 24, attracted the spotlight by playing the role of ``Jinsuk,'' the heroine, in ``Friend, Our Legend,'' an MBC TV drama that was aired through August. She appeared in ``Sikgaek 2 _ Kimchi War,'' a movie to be released later.

김태균-왕지혜 연인?
야구 거포 김태균과 배우 왕지혜가 교제 중이라고 왕지혜의 소속사인 스타파크 엔터테인먼트가 수요일 밝혔다.
스타파크는 "두 사람이 친한 것은 사실이고, 조심스럽게 만나고 있다. 그러나 '연인'이라는 단어는 아직 부담스러운 상황"이라고 밝혔다.
스타파크는 "두 사람은 지난 여름께 지인의 소개로 처음 만났다. 그 동안 식사 자리 등을 통해 종종 만나왔다"고 덧붙였다.
지난 3월 월드베이스볼클래식 (WBC)에서 4번 타자로 활약한 김태균 (27)은 지난 주 일본의 지바 롯데 마린스와 3년 기한의 5억 5천만 계약에 서명했다. 그는 성적에 따라 추가로 보너스를 받기로 돼 있는 것으로 보도됐다.
왕지혜 (24)는 지난 8월 종영된 '친구, 우리들의 전설'에서 여주인공 진숙 역을 맡아 주목을 끌었다. 그녀는 추후 개봉될 영화 '식객 2-김치전쟁'에도 출연했다.
