Millennium Seoul Hilton's French restaurant Seasons is offering a special truffle promotion this month.
Truffles are a pungent fungus known for its aromatic flavor. The special dinner includes sauteed goose liver and truffle salad with Port wine sauce, galette of salmon with truffle scrambled egg, Chateaubriand in Perigueux sauce with truffle sarladaises potato, and chocolate crepe with truffle honey ice cream.
The Truffle Tasting Menu is available only at dinner time and is priced at 120,000 won.

 Imperial Palace Hotel
The buffet restaurant of Imperial Palace Hotel, Familia, offers traditional dishes of the Philippines from Nov. 20 to Dec. 24, inviting culinary kings from its branch in Philippines.
Two experienced chefs from Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort and Spa in Cebu, opened in September, will show off delicacies such as Lechon kawali, a fired suckling pig eaten during festivals in the country.
Some 30 other dishes include crispy pata (fried pork after boiling), chicken with black bean sauce and pancit (fried noodle).

 Hyatt Regency Incheon
Hyatt Regency Incheon will hold the La Spinetta Winemaker's Dinner on Nov. 13.
Giorgio Rivetti, the owner and winemaker of the world-renowned Barbaresco winery in La Spinetta, Italy, will share his knowledge on winemaking over a dinner created by an Italian-born executive chef whose dishes will be paired with traditional Italian wines.
Rivetti earned an international reputation for the wines of La Spinetta and is one of the most influential winemakers in Italy. La Spinetta was named the "Winery of the Year" in 2001 by Gambero Rosso, an wine evaluation institution.
The dinner costs 140,000 to 180,000 won.

Sheraton Grande Walkerhill offers its "Early Winter Package" from Nov. 1 to Dec. 18.
This package, which starts at 172,000 won, features a one-night stay in a Deluxe Room and breakfast for two at all-day dining restaurant The View for a price.
Guests will also receive a 30-percent discount voucher for the Walkerhill Ice Rink, which opens Dec. 19, two complimentary donuts and coffee from Doughnut Plant New York City and a 20-percent discount voucher for the musical "Jack the Ripper."

JW Marriott Seoul's Marquis Thermal Spa presents an organic treatment with Sacred Nature, an eco-friendly line from the Italian skincare brand Comfort Zone.
The spa experts of the hotel have mastered Sacred Nature's signature anti-aging rituals and use top-quality products such as a regenerating face scrub and an anti-aging face cream.
The 60-minute Face and Body treatments are 160,000 and 190,000 won, respectively. The Whole Face and Body Treatment lasts 90 minutes and is 250,000 won. Treatments are available through next February.

The Ritz-Carlton
The Ritz-Carlton will launch its boutique-resort chain “Reserve” and open the first of its branches in Phulay Bay in Thailand on Dec. 22.
The announcement was made at the 2009 Ritz-Carlton Asia Road Show held at the Ritz- Carlton Seoul last Thursday with key executives from headquarters, including Chairman Simon Cooper and Vice Chairman Bob Kharazmi, in attendance.
