Sandara Park, a member of the popular pop group 2NE1, is going solo after successful group activities.
YG Entertainment said Sandara, 25, will release ``Kiss'' Monday in the form of a digital single.
``Kiss,'' a dance song with an intoxicating chorus, had been scheduled to be recorded on a new 2NE1 album to be released in October.
The song expresses a woman's inner mind that wants her partner to come closer and kiss her.
YG said, ``2NE1 is a group consisting of those with strong personalities. Following Sandara's `Kiss,' three other members will also unveil their own solo songs.''
Sandara went to the Philippines with her family at the age of eight. She starred in movies and television shows in the Southeast Asian country before returning to South Korea in August 2007.
The ``Female Big Bang,'' 2NE1, rose to stardom in July as its new song, ``I don't care,'' came out on top at most television music shows.
