As if the eight days of fashion shows during last month's Seoul Fashion Week were not enough, more spring and summer fashion collections will be unveiled in the next two weeks.
The Seoul Fashion Artists Association (SFAA) will kick off its three-day Seoul Collection, Thursday at the National Theater of Korea, Haneul Theater.
The SFAA had previously been part of Seoul Fashion Week, but this fall, they decided to stage a separate event once again.
The event spring/summer 2009 collection features fashion shows by 10 top Korean designers such as Rubina, Jinteok, Park Youn-soo, Ro Sung-un, Bakangchi, Choi Ye-nok, Kim Dong-soon, Sul Yun-hyoung, Kim Ji-woon and Haneza.
Seoul Collection, which is open to the public, runs from Nov. 13-15. Tickets are 7,000 won for one fashion show and 20,000 won for a day pass to four fashion shows. Tickets are available on ticket.interpark.com (Korean only) or at the venue.
Meanwhile, Pret-a-Porter Busan will feature not just Korean designers, but also designers from China, Hong Kong, Japan and France for the three-day event starting Nov. 20 at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO).
Model Center International president Toh Shin-woo said Pret-a-Porter Busan chose creative designers who are mostly in their 20s and 30s and show a lot of potential.
