Expect television to juice up the long holiday with movies from Hollywood, Korea and others.
On Feb. 6, SBS airs ``Batman Begins,'' a prequel to the Batman series that reveals how Bruce Wayne became Batman (10:55 p.m.), while MBC will air the Chinese movie ``Curse of the Golden Flower'' at a quarter past midnight. KBS 1 will air a Japanese movie about a housewife-spy, ``Turtles Swim Faster Than Expected'' (3:30 p.m.). If you like Korean comedy, tune to KBS 2, which will broadcast ``Unstoppable Marriage'' (7:50 p.m.) and ``My Tutor Friend Lesson II'' (11:05 p.m.).
On Lunar New Year's Day, Feb. 7, KBS 2 airs the award-winning movie ``Family Ties'' at a quarter past midnight. At 12:20 a.m., Feb. 8, ``The Bourne Identity,'' the first adventure of Jason Bourne, will begin on MBC.
On Friday, KBS 2 will show Korean movies ``The Host'' (10:40 a.m.) and ``The Show Must Go On'' (10:50 p.m.). KBS 1 will air ``Dear Pyongyang,'' a documentary on a North Korean family in Japan, at 10 past midnight. How about meeting Harry Potter and his friends at SBS (9:30 p.m) through ``Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire.''
MBC will screen the second of the Bourne series ``The Bourne Supremacy'' at 10:50 p.m., Saturday. At 11:35 p.m., a Korean thriller ``Paradise Murdered'' will be shown on KBS 2.

MBC will air a special four-part mini-series ``Aster,'' the name of a common wild flower. The drama looks back on the unconditional love of parents and the changing relationships within a family. The first two episodes are at 10:35 a.m., Thursday followed by the last two at the same time, Friday.
Cable television channels present all-day-long drama specials. Fox Channel is showing popular episodes from ``Medium,'' ``Monk,'' ``Law & Order,'' ``Dexter'' and ``Doctor Who'' from Feb. 6-10, respectively, at 10:00 p.m.
Super Action will show the complete 22 episodes of ``Supernatural'' season 2 for 19 hours from 10:00 p.m., Feb. 8. On OCN, you can compare famous crime-solving TV series ``CSI: Crime Scene Investigation'' and CSI-like reality series ``Murder'' for 28 hours, starting 10:00 p.m., Feb. 9.
KBS Drama, a cable subsidiary of the network station KBS, will air 10 episodes of its popular drama ``Hong Gil-dong, the Hero'' from 8:40 a.m., Thursday.

If you are a fan of the global talk show ``Beauty's Talk,'' do not miss the ``Guy'' version of the show, which will be aired at 8:30 p.m. on Seollal, Wednesday.
Meanwhile, in ``Global Korean Food'' at 10:40 a.m. on Thursday _ KBS 2, foreigners will compete at making the best Korean food and 100 foreigners participate in the ``Golden Bell Challenge'' at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday _ KBS 1.
MBC plays a matchmaker during the holiday with such programs as ``Star Wedding Variety: Just Married'' at 5:45 p.m., Wednesday and ``Blind Date: Friends of Celebrities.'' The former is a hypothetical program that assumes celebrities are married, while in the latter celebrities introduce their friends to a woman who will chose her date according to the celebrities' description of their friends.

For kids, cable animation channels have prepared special programs to keep them entertained.
Tooniverse will show five animation movies including ``Hoodwinked'' (2005) and ``Mug Travel'' (2007) from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Feb. 7.
Cartoon Network will feature the ``Tom and Jerry'' series starting at 12:00 p.m. from Feb. 6-10.
Champ will air movie theater versions of animations for this holiday. Famous Japanese animation series ``Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth'' will be aired at midnight, Feb. 6 and ``Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion'' at midnight, Feb. 7 and 8. ``Inuyasha The Movie 4: Fire On The Mystic Island'' will be shown at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday and ``Magic Rangers The Movie & Bokengers The Movie'' is at 1:00 p.m., Friday.
The ``Evangelion'' series will be in Japanese with Korean subtitles, while others are dubbed in Korean.
