주목 받는 K팝 스타들, 4월 컴백 준비 태세

Competition on K-pop charts will intensify in April, with a legion of prominent stars gearing up for new music offerings. Included in the lineup are NCT DOJAEJUNG, IVE, Kep1er and Apink.
4월 수많은 대형 아이돌들이 신보를 들고 오면서 K팝 차트 경쟁이 심화될 예정이다. 라인업에는 NCT 도재정, 아이브, 케플러와 에이핑크가 있다.

K-pop bigwig IVE's first full-length album, "I've IVE," will arrive on the music scene, April 10. It has taken more than a year for the six-piece act to roll out a studio album since its debut in December 2021.
K팝 대형 걸그룹 아이브는 첫 정규앨범 ‘아이해브 아이브(I've IVE)'로 10일 가요계에 상륙할 예정이다. 2021년 12월 데뷔 후 정규앨범을 내는 데 1년 이상이 걸렸다.

To whet its fans' appetites, IVE unveiled one of the songs ― "Kitsch" ― on Monday, a few weeks before releasing the full album. The track has already created a splash, grabbing the No. 1 spot on multiple music streaming platforms including Melon. Its music video has also drawn more than 7 million views on YouTube as of Tuesday afternoon.
팬들의 마음을 사로잡기 위해 아이브는 정규앨범 발매 몇 주 전 월요일 수록곡 중 하나인 ‘키치'를 선공개했다. ‘키치'는 이미 멜론을 비롯한 여러 음원 플랫폼에서 1위를 석권하며 화제를 모았다. 뮤직비디오 역시 화요일 오후 기준 유튜브 조회수 700만 뷰를 돌파했다.

"'Kitsch,' which highlights IVE members' uniqueness and self-confidence, will help them solidify their identities," Starship Entertainment, IVE's management company, said in a statement. "Their upcoming album will revolve around the themes of self-love, self-confidence and free-spiritedness."
아이브 소속사 스타쉽엔터테인먼트는 "아이브 멤버들의 개성과 자신감을 부각시킨 '키치'가 멤버들의 정체성을 확고히 하는 데 도움이 될 것"이라며 "다음 앨범은 자기애, 자신감, 자유분방함을 주제로 전개될 것"이라고 덧붙였다.

IVE rose to meteoric stardom shortly after its debut thanks to the success of three singles: "Eleven," (2021), "Love Dive" (2022) and "After Like" (2022). Kakao Entertainment, which controls Starship, announced recently that it has partnered with the U.S. record label Columbia Records to promote the group's musical activities in North America. Columbia is the company behind stars like Beyonce and Harry Styles.
아이브는 2021년 '일레븐', 2022년 '러브 다이브', 2022년 '애프터 라이크'까지 싱글곡 3개를 연달아 히트시키며 데뷔와 동시에 혜성처럼 스타덤에 올랐다. 스타쉽엔터테인먼트 운영사인 카카오엔터테인먼트는 아이브의 북미 음악 활동 추진을 위해 최근 미국 음반사 ‘콜럼비아 레코드'와 파트너십을 맺었다고 밝혔다. ‘콜롬비아'는 비욘세 및 해리 스타일스를 비롯한 스타들이 소속된 회사다.

On the same day, K-pop girl group Kep1er will drop its fourth mini-album, "LOVESTRUCK!" Kep1er is a multinational act made up of nine winners from Mnet's 2021 audition program, "Girls Planet 999."
K팝 걸그룹 케플러도 같은날 네 번째 미니앨범 ‘러브스트럭!'으로 돌아온다. 케플러는 2021년 엠넷 서바이벌 오디션 프로그램 ‘걸스플래닛999: 소녀대전'을 통해 데뷔한 멤버 아홉 명의 다국적 그룹이다.

Led by "Giddy," the upcoming EP will express the emotional rollercoaster that the nine members face after falling in love.
타이틀곡 ‘기디'를 비롯해 이번 앨범에는 아홉 멤버가 사랑에 빠진 후 마주한 감정의 롤러코스터가 표현되어 있다.
