KOTESOL, an association of English teachers, will hold its annual international conference at Sookmyung Women’s University on Saturday and Sunday. The group said Friday it will host the two-day event inviting English education experts here and overseas and more than 1,500 people are expected to participate in the conference.
This year’s event has been organized in cooperation with the Pan-Asian consortium of language associations, which includes teaching associations from Japan, Russia, China, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines.
The attendance fee is 50,000 won for KOTESOL members, 75,000 won for non-members and 25,000 won for undergraduate students. For more information, visit its website at www.kotesol.org.
KOTESOL, which is short for the Korea Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages, was founded in 1992 to develop better English education for non-profit purposes.
