The body of a Korean tourist who went missing near a remote New Zealand glacier has been found at the bottom of a cliff, AFP reported, citing police officers Wednesday.
Emergency services began searching for Ergine Choe, 31, from Incheon, earlier this week when police were alerted that his rental car had been parked near the Franz Joseph glacier, on the South Island, for a number of days.
Choe had been travelling alone in New Zealand for two weeks, police said. They said he appeared to have wandered off a track and fallen to his death “some days ago.”
