Club Med has launched a new package to the resort island of Maldives for customers departing on weekdays.

The Maldives Kani Special, an exclusive weekday promotion package for families and single vacationers, will be provided through Sept. 28.

For customers leaving to the island between Tuesday and Friday, Club Med will offer a discount up to 1.5 million won for adults and 600,000 won for children aged between four and 11. The discounts will apply when making reservations for at least two persons for three nights at a minimum and a maximum of six nights.

The discount rate differs according to room type and the number of nights stayed. The original price also varies according to the room type and the dates.

The Club Med Kani, Maldives is located 20 minutes away from Male International Airport by a speed boat.

The package is an all-inclusive service which features round-trip tickets, a guest room, three meals a day, snacks, unlimited drinks, various sports activities and night entertainments. There are no extra charges for the services or activities, providing convenience for customers with a one-time payment.

Club Med offers various marine activities in the emerald Indian Ocean, including sailing lessons, snorkeling tours, kayak and scuba diving in which visitors can experience the beauty of the ocean as well as the diverse species of sea animals.

At the swimming pool inside the resort, aquarobics and diverse water tournament games are available all the time. Visitors may also enjoy a relaxing yoga program during sunset at the beach.

Every evening, circuses and various performances are offered by the resort’s staff called “gentle organizers” (G.O.), while guests can mingle at a cocktail and dance party held until midnight.

Those who reserve online through the Club Med Korea’s website, www.clubmed.co.kr, will receive special benefits ― a 3-percent additional discount from the package price, 20,000-won worth coupon for the Shilla duty free shop, a coupon allowing Club Med’s Gold Card membership issuance, and special gifts offered by Club Med.

The Kani resort has 75 lagoon suites that are stretched like leaves of a palm tree and each of them are directly connected to the sea.

For more information, visit the Club Med website or call (02) 3452-0123.

Founded in 1950, Club Med now has about 80 resorts around the world.
