What do Koreans think about Filipinos joining #cancelkorea movement? [VIDEO]

The controversy began on Sept. 5 when Filipina TikTok star Bella Poarch posted a video of her dancing which exposed a Rising Sun flag tattoo on her left arm. The flag is associated with Japanese Imperialism and remains sensitive to Koreans even to this day.

Even after she apologized saying she did not know the history behind the flag and would remove her tattoo, some Korean TikTok users continued their attack on her.

Some Koreans even resorted to racial slurs referring to Filipinos as "poor and uneducated" which prompted Filipinos to call out Koreans through the hashtag "CancelKorea" and "ApologizeToFilipinos."

But do those racially discriminatory attacks on Filipinos represent what Koreans really feel about the country? To find out, we went out to ask people how they feel about the incident.
