A cold snap is expected to grip Korea Thursday, the last day of 2020.
2020년 마지막 날인 목요일 한파가 몰아칠 전망이다.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, temperatures will plummet to -12C in Seoul in early morning. In the afternoon, temperatures are forecast to rise by up to -3C, but stay below freezing throughout the day.
기상청에 따르면, 이른 아침 서울 기온은 영하 12도까지 곤두박질친다. 오후에는 영하 3도까지 오를 것으로 예상되지만, 기온은 온종일 영하권에 머문다.
As the cold wave is forecast to sweep across the country with temperatures dipping into the double digits below zero in the northern and central parts of the country, The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) has issued cold wave alerts for Seoul and the provinces of Gyeonggi, Gangwon, North Gyeongsang and North and South Chungcheong.
북부와 중부지방의 기온이 영하 두 자릿수로 떨어지는 등 전국적으로 한파가 몰아칠 것으로 예보됨에 따라 기상청은 서울과 경기, 강원, 경북, 충남, 충북에 한파특보를 발령했다.
