In its report released Dec. 21, the Bank of Korea suggested that the recent crisis could permanently impact in-person services providers and low-income earners. And the central bank views the imbalance is likely to continue for a considerable period of time.
한국은행은 이달 21일 발표한 보고서에서 최근의 위기 상황이 대면서비스 제공자와 저소득자들에게 영구적으로 영향을 줄 수 있다는 점을 시사했다. 그리고 한국은행은 불균형이 상당 기간 지속될 것으로 보고 있다.
The country is weighed down by a variety of pandemic-induced woes.
한국은 현재 코로나바이러스가 유발한 다양한 문제들에 짓눌려 있는 상황이다.
"This may not be a temporary decoupling phenomenon, and last for a while," the report said. The recovery in the job market is feared to be far slower compared to previous crises.
"이것은 일시적인 디커플링 현상이 아니고 한동안 지속될 가능성이 크다"고 보고서는 말했다. 고용시장의 회복은 이전의 위기들에 비해 훨씬 더 느릴 것으로 우려된다.
