Singer and actress Uhm Jung-hwa is back with her new single "Hopin" released on Tuesday.
This is her first solo release in three years since her last album "The Cloud Dream of the Nine" in 2017.
The single was produced by Dynamic Duo's rapper Gaeko and features Mamamoo's Hwasa and rapper DPR LIVE.
"The song intends to send a message that 'although nothing is forever, we can have a moment that lasts forever,'" Amoeba Culture, the music label behind the song, said.
"Hopin" hit streaming sites at 6 p.m.
Uhm, 51, debuted in 1993 with the album "Sweet Secret." She shot to stardom soon after the debut, becoming one of the top solo female artists in Korea. Her hit songs include "Poison" (1998), "Festival" (1999), and "D.I.S.C.O" (2008).
She recently formed a project group "Refund Sisters" with three other singers ― Lee Hyori, Jessi, and Hwasa ― and they released the single "Don't Touch Me" in October.
