Commencing Aug.1, The Korea Times will be publishing its newspaper edition five times a week from Monday to Friday.
The move comes as part of a campaign to strengthen The Korea Times online news content and services ahead of its 70th anniversary later this year; and also to comply with the government mandated maximum workweek of 52 hours.
To compensate for this, the weekend print edition of The Korea Times will have an increased number of pages for the Friday publication with more articles added to the Weekender, alongside more exciting and in-depth content on weekdays. We also plan to start an online newsletter services later this year.
To produce higher quality, more timely, accurate and value-added content, the newspaper is now undergoing a transformative process to become a digitally agile media organization committed to satisfying the diverse interests of our valued readers.
We thank you for your continued support of The Korea Times.
