By Park Si-soo
One has typhoon has passed but two are on the way.
Typhoon Francisco blew out on Wednesday after slamming Busan and other southern areas. But two stronger typhoons are emerging from southern seas.
Typhoon Lekima is moving northwest from 610 kilometers south of Japan's Okinawa at 15 kilometers per hour (as of 6 a.m.), according to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA).
Lekima ― classified as a "medium" typhoon with maximum sustained wind of 126 kph and central pressure of 970 hectopascals (hPs) ― is expected to hit China's Fuzhou on Friday, veer right and trundle toward Shanghai. If it survives the overland travel, western parts of the Korean Peninsula will come under the typhoon's influence early next week.
