Teenage boy band NCT DREAM from SM Entertainment is returning with its third mini-album, “We Boom,” 10 months after the second, “We Go Up.”
The album has six tracks including the title song “Boom.” It will be released online at 6 p.m. July 26. The music video will be uploaded at midnight, while the physical album will be released three days later.
NCT DREAM debuted in 2016 and is well known for trendy and unique performances. The six-member band, all aged under 19, usually express their experiences as teenagers in their songs. In “My First and Last” and “We Young,” the energy of youth can be felt.
The band is the third sub-group of NCT, which stands for Neo Culture Technology. It is a rotational teenage band and a member “graduates” when they turn 20. Last year, Korean-Canadian member Mark Lee graduated and now belongs to other sub-groups ― NCT U and NCT 127.
