Young singer Jeon So-mi's daring new Instagram post has drawn parental-like advice from some of her fans.

The No.1 fan-pick winner from girl band audition show "Produce 101" on Mnet was dressed in a black see-through layered one-piece dress for a photo shoot.

Jeon, 17, updated her
Instagram Tuesday with the pictures.

The star, housed under The Black Label, completed her photo shoot assignment look with red lipstick, a white mini-shoulder bag and a pair of sparkling earrings.

"Put some clothes on her, she is yet underage," one concerned fan said online. Other like-minded followers said a minor like Jeon is too young for "the sexy code."

But the pictures drew more positive comments from visitors to the star's social network account "somsomi0309," calling her "queen" and "beautiful."

Born to a Dutch-Canadian father and a Korean mother in Canada, the former member of K-pop girl band I.O.I had been tripped up by her age before.

She was subject to a rumor in October 2017 that she had alcoholic drinks with two other I.O.I members.

The rumor started with a group selfie of Jeon, Kim So-hye and Choi Yoo-jung, with bottles of wine, soju and sake behind them. Kim and Choi were aged 18 that year, one year short of Korea's legal drinking age.

The photo stirred accusations of underage drinking by the stars. The photo, posted on Jeon's Instagram, was soon deleted amid the mounting backlash.

Choi's agency Fantagio released an official statement explaining the stars only posed in front of the bottles that were consumed by Choi's relatives at her home.
