Placido Domingo, the world's top tenor, will perform in Jamsil Gymnasium on Oct. 26.
His last performance in Korea was two years ago in Seoul, also in October.
In 1990, Domingo impressed Korean fans with as one of the “
” in concert.
Luciano Pavarotti, Jose Carreras and Domingo sang at the opening ceremony of the World Cup in Italy. Their performance sold 12 million albums.
Domingo made his debut as a baritone in 1957, and has been active since. He has performed at multiple opera houses, including the New York Metropolitan Opera, the Vienna State Opera, and the Royal Opera House in London.
He will continue his tour in London, Milan and Valencia.
