Man sleeping on road run over and killed

A man in his 40s was killed in Busan early Wednesday after being hit by a taxi while lying in the road, police said.
According to police, he was sleeping in the middle of the road while intoxicated when the taxi ran over him.
He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:36 a.m.
Police are investigating whether the taxi driver violated any traffic laws.
