A great white shark was caught in Geoje, South Gyeongsang Province, Wednesday.
It weighed 300 kilograms and was four meters long.
The sharks are known to attack sea turtles, birds, sea lions and sometimes people.
Geoje is setting up some shark protection before opening the beach for visitors in July.
