Man arrested for allegedly selling child porn

A young man has been arrested on charges of selling child pornography, police said Tuesday.

The Chungbuk Provincial Police Agency said the man, 20, whose identity is being withheld, was arrested for allegedly selling child porn to 46 people online between January and March.

He made about 5 million won ($4,600), police said.

He is also suspected of video-recording the private parts of women in public restrooms.

Police said they are looking for the buyers of the porn.

Creating, distributing and possessing child pornography is illegal here. People who possess it could face a maximum prison sentence of one year or a fine up to 10 million won.
