The "2019 Asian Model Festival FACE of SINGAPORE with MyGenomeBox" was held at NoonTalk Media in Singapore on April 20.
Face of Singapore ― a local contest that leads up to Asia's largest model hunt platform Face of Asia ― is the first step toward a big opportunity for aspiring young Asian models to begin their career in the global modeling and fashion industry.
Andy Lee, Wong Chulin and Juhi Nars ― have been chosen as this year's Faces of Singapore. Winners will be given opportunities to feature in advertisements and more for the event's official sponsor brands.
In May, the three winners will move on to Seoul, Korea to represent Singapore and compete against 80 models from 25 Asian countries for the coveted title of Face of Asia at the 14th Asia Model Festival slated for June 7-9.
Countries sending their models to the final in Korea are China, Japan, Mongolia, Philippines, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Nepal, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Macau, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Arabia, Bangladesh and Taiwan.
While most countries have selected their representative models, remaining countries including Bangladesh and India are set to host their local contests in April and May.
