The FACE of Vietnam 2020 with EDGC, a regional modeling competition before next year's FACE of ASIA finals in Seoul, selected three winners on Nov. 17.

The event was held in Hanoi at national broadcaster VTV's studios. It was live-streamed through VTV's website vtv.vn.

Of 30 contestants, three models were selected ― Nguyen Van Nam (male), Do Phung Huong Giang (female) and Nguyen Thi Huong (female). They will compete against winners from more than 20 Asian countries in the FACE of ASIA finals in Seoul.

FACE of ASIA, the largest model-hunt platform in Asia, is part of the 15th Asia Model Festival (AMF) scheduled for next June in Seoul.

"I hope the 2020 FACE of Vietnam will act as a hub in facilitating more cultural exchanges in the beauty and fashion industry between Korea and Vietnam," AMF organizing committee Chairman Yang Eui-sig said.

Korea Creative Content Agency Vietnam's Hong Jung-young said the event is a great opportunity for Korean fashion to enter the Vietnamese market.

Partner companies of the event include VTV, VIC MEDIA PRODUCTION, AsiaQueen, KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency), Doosun Cosmetics Inc, CHICKEN PLUS+, Seoul Tourism Organization, The Korea Times, Seoul city, May Island, KPOP DANCE MASTER, READY PLASTIC SURGERY, H.Y-GIN, LAVISH (H BABY-KOREA COSMETIC), and OPERA-LEBODY.

Twenty-five Asian countries ― Korea, China, Japan, Mongolia, the Philippines, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Nepal, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Macau, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Arabia, Bangladesh and Taiwan ― will compete at the Asia Model Festival next year.
