Opening of history museum

President Lee Myung-bak listens to a briefing during an opening exhibition at the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History in Gwanghwamun, central Seoul, Wednesday, along with Culture Minister Choe Kwang-shik, second from right. After four years of construction, the glass-walled seven-story museum opened at the former site of the culture ministry. The museum is dedicated to modern economic, social and cultural achievements of Korea since 1876, when the country begin engaging with the outside world.
