    McDonald's opened its first Korean store in 1988, the year of the Seoul Summer Olympics. To celebrate its 30th anniversary in Korea and the second Olympics held here, the U.S. fast food chain's local subsidiary said it is doing its best for the success of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics and Paralympics.     CHA Medical Group enters Australian fertility market
    CHA Medical Group (CMG) has acquired the largest stake in a leading sub-fertility treatment center in Australia, becoming Korea’s first medical institution to enter the Australian market. CMG announced last week that CHA Healthcare, its joint venture with Singapore Medical Group, has acquired 65 percent of CFC Global, which runs seven fertility clinics in Australia.

    Bayer joins KOTRA for nurturing digital healthcare startups
    Bayer Korea said Monday it opened applications for a support program for startups in the digital healthcare and smart farm sectors. The program, titled Grants4Apps Korea, is run by Bayer Korea and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and is aimed at helping domestic digital healthcare startups develop their businesses and enter the market. This is the second round of Grants4Apps Korea, which made successful results in its inaugural round in 2017.
