A woman in her 30s was detained for allegedly brandishing a knife at musical actors inside a dressing room, leaving Super Junior's Kyuhyun with a minor injury, police said Monday.
The woman is accused of breaking into the dressing room for musical actors in Magok-dong, western Seoul, and threatening them with a knife at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The Seoul Gangseo Police Station said they caught the woman red-handed at 6:30 p.m.
Kyuhyun, a member of K-pop group Super Junior, sustained a minor abrasion on his finger while trying to stop the suspect, according to officials.
The woman has no relations with the actors, officials said.
The police are looking into the suspect's record of mental illness and where she purchased the weapon. (Yonhap)
