Go Soo, the lead actor in TvN's fantasy series "Missing: The Other Side," expressed his contentment in reuniting with co-star Huh Joon-ho for a second season after two years.
"I feel like we have become familiar with each other. We know each other so well to the point that I would know where (Huh) is standing without even looking at him. So, I'm very pleased to reunite," Go said during an online press conference for the series, Thursday.
"I think we fit right into our roles and have such great chemistry. During season 1, we needed some time to settle in with each other but we didn't need that this time. We worked in such a comfortable environment."
The fantasy mystery series revolves around a con man, Kim Wook (Go), who comes across a mysterious supernatural village where the spirits of missing dead people are stranded. Along with another person who knows about the village, Jang Pan-seok (Huh), Kim solves the mystery behind the missing dead people.
The new season, set to premiere on Monday, will pick up two years after the village disappeared. Kim is moving on with his life, continuing to help those in need, yet barely making ends meet. One day, he encounters a missing person case from 20 years ago and gets himself into another undertaking through mysteries in a new village of the dead, accompanied by Jang.
It will be once again led by director Min Yeon-hong and written by scriptwriters Ban Ki-ri and Jeong So-young.

Huh shared that he had hoped for the series' renewal and is thrilled to take part in its new season. "When the first season ended, I felt a sense of responsibility, not for us but rather for the viewers. I hoped the series could continue on a little more to bring up stories that stir our thoughts together. And I'm happy that my hope has come true," he said.
The director noted that the new season will have more in-depth, heartfelt stories.
"Comparing season 2 with the first one, season 1 was about the desperate stories of the living people, who were left behind, whereas season 2 will tell stories that navigate the desperation of the deceased," the director said.
"(The series) is about living people and the spirits of those with their own stories who come together to help each other resolve their pain, and during that process, a lot happens. It would be interesting to follow what their story is and how they resolve it."
This season welcomes new cast members, including Lee Jung-eun, who will play the character of Kang Eun-sil, one of the spirits living in the village.
"I met with the director and writers after getting the offer for the role. And as I listened to them explaining the series, it felt like I naturally became part of the story. There is some humor and a meaningful message so I felt honored to join the piece," she said.
The new season of "Missing: The Other Side" will air on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8:50 p.m.
