Members of K-pop boy band INFINITE will reunite after years of being apart.

The four members ― Sungkyu, Dongwoo, Sungyeol and Sungjong ― are set to meet their fans in a live broadcast on Wednesday to celebrate the 11th anniversary of their debut.

At the event, the quartet will walk down memory lane with their fans and hand out “special gifts.” But L and Woohyun, who are currently serving their mandatory military service, will not be able to join.

“This will be the first time that the quartet reunites after being discharged from the military service,” INFINITE's management company, Woollim Entertainment, said in a statement.

INFINITE's live broadcast is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. (KST) on Naver's V Live streaming service for idol groups.

INFINITE, known for its members' wide vocal range and meticulously synchronized choreography, made its debut on June 9, 2010, with the album, “First Invasion.” Before its meteoric rise to stardom with the smash-hit, “Be Mine” (2011) ― the lead single off its first full-length album, “Over the Top” ― the group established a strong presence in the music scene with the powerful and dramatic track, “BTD (Before the Dawn)” (2010), which revolves around obsessive love.

The success of “Be Mine” led INFINITE to become one of the most prominent boy bands in the early 2010s. Thanks to this song, the band grabbed the No. 1 spot on the popular Korean music show, Mnet's MCOUNTDOWN. Since then, it has rolled out a string of hits, including “The Chaser” (2012), “Man in Love” (2013) and “Bad” (2015).

INFINITE was initially a seven-piece act comprised of Sungkyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Hoya, Sungyeol, L and Sungjong. But in 2017, Hoya quit the act. Nevertheless, the six members continued their winning streak with the release, “Tell Me” (2018).

INFINITE members have also been hitting high notes as soloists. Sungkyu, in the most successful case, made his solo debut in 2012 and swept multiple music streaming charts with the tune, “The Answer,” in 2015.

Although all the members, except Sungjong and Woohyun, left Woollim Entertainment over the years, the agency said that their departures do not mean the dissolution of the team.
