Some fans of K-pop global act BTS are disappointed with its short stay in Korea after the release of a new album, "LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'," on Aug. 24.
BTS will begin a world tour in Seoul on Aug. 25 and 26 and then hold gigs around the world.
After the Seoul concerts, BTS will participate in the "2018 Soribada Best K-music Awards" on Aug. 30 and then head to Los Angeles for a performance on Sept. 5. The group has to leave Korea by the beginning of September at the latest.
This has upset the ARMY ― BTS's fans. Some claim that the band's agency, Big Hit Entertainment, is neglecting Korean fans. Others are grumbling that those who could not get tickets for the gig have no chance to see BTS.
"It is not easy, but we are making an effort to create opportunities for Korean fans to enjoy the group's performance," Big Hit Entertainment said.
