K-pop boy band GOT7's Youngjae has denied allegations he was a bully in high school.

JYP Entertainment, his management agency, said Wednesday it is not true that Youngjae bullied his classmate and extorted money from ― an accusation raised by a person who claims to be a high school classmate.

"Youngjae told us that there was a physical altercation between him and a classmate when he was a high school student and their relationship has not recovered," the agency said. "But he said all the other allegations are untrue.

"We attempted to contact the accuser, but the person has not responded yet. We will look into the case and come up with proper measures."

The accuser, who claims to have been in the same classes as the star when they were second and third-graders at a high school in Mokpo, made the allegations on a popular website Tuesday.

"I am tired of seeing him pretending to be good on TV programs. He is a devil," the person wrote.

Youngjae debuted as a member of GOT7 in 2014. He is scheduled to appear in Netflix's new teen sitcom "I Wish the World Would End Tomorrow."
