Actress Stephanie Lee has joined the cast of tvN's news series “Startup,” starring Bae Suzy, Nam Joo-hyuk and Kim Seon-ho.

The actress' agency VAST Entertainment confirmed Wednesday that she has taken a role in the series that will go to air later this year.

The Korean-American actress will play designer and model Jung Sa-ha, who graduated from law school and excels in various fields.

The series ― directed by Oh Choong-hwan, who is the director of “Hotel del Luna” ― has been one of the most anticipated in this year's tvN lineup.

Oh and writer Park Hye-ryun have reunited to work on the drama after their successful collaboration in SBS's 2017 hit series ”While You Were Sleeping.”

“Startup” will follow a group of young entrepreneurs taking a leap forward to success, trying to become “the next Steve Jobs” in Korea's Silicon Valley “Sandbox.”

Lee, who debuted as a model, started her acting career with the teen detective series “Schoolgirl Detectives” in 2014. She also starred in SBS drama “The Last Empress” (2018), “Partners for Justice” (2018) and “Second to Last Love” (2016).
