Actress Kang Han-na will join the all-star cast of tvN's new series "Startup," starring Bae Suzy, Nam Joo-hyuk and Kim Seon-ho.

Fantagio, the actress's agency, said Wednesday she has landed a role in the series that is slated to air in October.

"Startup" will follow a group of young entrepreneurs working together to run a startup to become "the next Steve Jobs" in Korea's Silicon Valley "Sandbox."

Kang will play the heiress of wealthy mogul and CEO Won In-jae. After getting thrown out of the company by her dad, she joins the entrepreneur group to build their own business.

Directed by Oh Choong-hwan, whose previous work is "Hotel del Luna," the series is one of the most anticipated in this year's tvN lineup, along with "Record of Youth" starring Park Bo-gum.

Oh and writer Park Hye-ryun have reunited to work on the drama after their successful collaboration on SBS's 2017 hit series "While You Were Sleeping."

Kang started gaining attention after a supporting role in MBC's series "Miss Korea" in 2013. Since then, she has starred in several TV dramas, including "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" (2016) and "Designated Survivor: 60 Days." She also has featured in reality shows such as "Chicken Road" (2019) and "The Romance" (2019).
