Rapper Zico has again topped music charts, this time with his newly released album "RANDOM BOX."

"Summer Hate," the title song of the summer-themed album, took top spot on several music-streaming charts ― including Melon, Genie, and Bugs ― on the day of its release, Wednesday.

As of noon Thursday, the song was still on top of the charts, followed by Blackpink's single "How You Like That."

This is the second time the artist-producer has dominated music charts this year, since his last single "Any Song" in January.

Zico expressed excitement with the success through social media, posting a screenshot of a chart with the caption "Thank you so much!!!!!!!"

As part of the promotion for his latest song, the artist made a surprise appearance as a weatherman on MBC's "News Today" on Wednesday and gave a glimpse of the song's dance.

Zico debuted in 2011 as leader of hip-hop boy band Block B. He left the group in 2018 and became a solo artist.

Zico has released several self-composed hit songs including "SoulMate" and "She's a Baby."
