K-pop group BTS has voiced its support for the Black Lives Matter movement, galvanized by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

The group shared a post in Korean and English on twitter Thursday, saying, "We stand against racial discrimination."

With the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter, the group wrote: "We condemn violence. You, I and we all have the right to be respected. We will stand together."

우리는 인종차별에 반대합니다.우리는 폭력에 반대합니다.나, 당신, 우리 모두는 존중받을 권리가 있습니다. 함께 하겠습니다.We stand against racial discrimination. We condemn violence. You, I and we all have the right to be respected. We will stand together.#BlackLivesMatter

The septet also plans to donate to an organization fighting against racial inequality.

"We've discussed with the organization and are in the process of making the donation," the group's agency Big Hit Entertainment said, adding that it would not disclose the amount or the organization's name.

Along with BTS, many K-pop artists, including GOT7's Mark, R&B artist Crush, and NCT 127's Johnny, have expressed solidarity to condemn racial injustice and encouraged fans to join the movement.

Tiffany Young of Girls' Generation shared links to racial-equality related foundations, saying, "I've added links in my stories on ways everyone can support and where I plan to donate to after Black Out Tuesday."

Hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC ― founded by Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone ― and its artists came together to donate $21,000 to the Black Lives Matter Organization.
