Taeyang of K-pop act BIGBANG disclosed the twists and turns he had during his American tour in the third episode of his YouTube documentary "White Night," Monday.

The episode features BIGBANG's lead vocalist during his tour in 2017. He was mostly brimming with excitement, but also faced hurdles midway.

While staging a gig in San Jose, California, Taeyang hurt his lips due to a microphone. But the singer successfully continued the concert after quick treatment.

"Regardless of the number of the audience ― whether it is 100, 1,000 or 10,000 ― I want to display the best quality performance that I can give," he said.

"White Night," the second documentary film by BIGBANG, premiered on May 18. The first edition "Kwon Ji Yong Act III: M.O.T.T.E," which features the group's leader G-Dragon, was released in 2018.

Each episode of the eight-part "White Night" is available every Monday and Thursday on BIGBANG and Taeyang's YouTube channel.

Taeyang, whose real name is Dong Young-bae, debuted as a BIGBANG member in 2006 with the album "Bigbang." He married actress Min Hyo-rin in 2018.
