For a brief moment during BLACKPINK's recent New Jersey concert, Jennie appeared to stun other band members with her apparently improvised choreography.
YG Entertainment's four stars were performing at Prudential Center in Newark on May 2 as part of “Blackpink World Tour (In Your Area)” continuing from 2018 to 2020.
Near the end of “As If It's Your Last,” Jennie improvised, suddenly turning backwards to face Jisoo and Lisa behind her.
Fans close to the stage posted photos of Jisoo and Lisa dumbfounded by Jennie on Twitter. But a
(watch from 6:45) shows the moment smoothly timed to the lyrics in last chorus. Jennie's mischief was apparently well-timed because it fitted perfectly the words “I will never look back.”
BLACKPINK performed in New Jersey on May 1-2. British singer/song writer Dua Lipa, who worked with the band on “
” in October 2018, was a special guest on the first day.
The band also performed in Atlanta on Sunday, followed by Fort Worth, Texas, on May 8.
