Seungri, a Big Bang member who was recently questioned over sexual and financial misconduct allegations, is now facing angry fans who want him out of the boy band.

On Saturday, Big Bang fans released a statement on DC Inside, a popular online community, urging agency YG Entertainment to kick out the scandal-ridden member.

"We strongly demand that Seungri be kicked out of Big Bang after he seriously tarnished the images of the group and the agency by taking advantage of Big Bang's name for his personal interest," the statement says.

The statement points out a slew of allegations Seungri has faced lately. These include directing his staff at the Burning Sun club to provide sexual services to his investors and embezzling money from business accounts.

The fans accuse him of taking advantage of Big Bang's name to promote his business and attract investors and of treating a girl group member disrespectfully during a TV show, claiming that such behaviors show his character.

"The truth behind all the allegations will be revealed through the investigation, but the damage has already been done and it seems irreparable," the statement says. "We no longer support Seungri as a Big Bang member and we demand YG Entertainment kick him out."

On Feb. 27, Seungri appeared at Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency for questioning over whether he was directly involved in the club's management as he previously claimed and, if so, whether he knew of all the illicit activities in which some staff were allegedly involved.

He will begin mandatory military service on Mar. 25, but police said they would continue to look into the case.
