KBS TV hit drama "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" has received a warning for airing "inappropriate" scenes for minors, one featuring an underage kiss.
The Korea Communications Standards Commission said Wednesday that two scenes aired in August and on Sept. 22 received complaints for being unsuitable for minors.
The first had Kim Yoo-jung, 17, wrapping her chest with gauze. The second showed Kim kissing Park Bo-gum, 21. The scenes were criticized because Kim is an underage actress.
A commission official said the drama violated a law on the protection of underage actors and actresses. According to the law, a TV program should not portray in a positive way inappropriate actions committed by minors.
Despite the controversy, "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" ended on Tuesday with a viewer rating of 22.9 percent.
On Wednesday, about 5,000 fans gathered at Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul to meet the drama's cast. The event was originally planned as a fan meeting with about 200 people, but thousands turned up.
