Question: What did you learn about love while filming this movie?

Moon: Everyone may have his or her own definition of what love is. What I learned during filming is that love is really just when you miss someone. It is something that touches and moves people. I hope many people will get a chance to experience love and feel happy.

Q: You are still a high school student. Do you have any first loves to speak of?

Moon: Well, I don't think I have any true first "loves" to speak of, but while playing the Chae-rin character, I realized that many years ago I shared a similar experience as my character of loving someone. That person was a very close friend of mine from elementary school. I would say he was my first love.

Q: What made you want to play Chae-rin, even though it required a lot of effort and time to learn new things like dancing, Chinese and the Yeonbyeon dialect?

Moon: I always like learning something new. Of course, it was not an easy character to play because I had to learn Chinese and be trained as a dancer over a short period of time. But I wanted to show movie fans that I could improve my acting inch by inch. Actually, I don't even understand what the Chinese lines mean since I only repeated what I heard from the record tapes or teachers (laughs).

Q: In your previous film, My Little Bride, your song was a hit and in your most recent film, you surprise many people by singing a Chinese song. Is there a chance of you launching a singing career?

Moon: I've never thought about launching a singing career. What I really enjoy and would like to do for the rest of my life is acting.

Q: How are your studies going? Isn't it difficult to act and study at the same time?

Moon: I'm doing my best to prepare for the college entrance exams like every other senior student. Acting and studying at the same time is really challenging, especially since I want to do both of them well. Luckily, the people around me like my parents, teachers and friends are a great help to me. I would like to take this chance to say thank you to all my friends in Gwangju for lending me their notes and sending me text messages whenever a school notice was released.

Q: Have you decided what you want to major in college?

Moon: I haven't decided yet, but I'm thinking about majoring in Korean literature or acting. Even though I might decide to study something other than acting, that doesn't mean I will be quitting it. As the Korean--American cellist Sarah Chang once decided to major in philosophy to enrich her music career, what I will learn in college, I believe, will also help me enhance my acting career. But for now, I'll just do my best in studying for the college entrance exams.
